most of the videos nominated are pretty crappy ... the white stripes video is definitely something different and p.o.d.'s "alive" was cool and cake's video for "short skirt/long jacket" was funny and inspired ... some of the nominations really make me wonder who the hell chooses the nominees ... i.e. - kylie minogue's "can't get you out of my head" for best choreography ... the "dancing" in that video sucks ...

I find it really ironic that MTV is still doling out awards for music videos when music videos get so little airplay on the channel anymore.  Oh, and Creed only pulled one nomination but if you've been to creed.com lately you already knew that.
